Several New Laws Going Into Effect January 1st

SB 262 Extends the sunset of property tax exemption for multi-housing units

SB 484 Limits Landlord to charging one applicant screening fee per 60-day period

SB 608 Rent Control / Prohibition of No-Cause Evictions after 1st Year of Occupancy

SB 907 Prohibits Denying an Applicant for Marijuana Convictions / Requires Landlords to provide Tenant Handbook regarding rights in selling manufactured dwelling or floating home

HB 2002 Requires Owners of Subsidized Housing to provide more notice before the end of their subsidized  contract

HB 2006 Establishes grants to support development of programs to help individuals find and retain housing

HB 2530 Requires Inclusion of Information to Veterans when serving a notice to vacate
